Afraid WIP

So this is my first art project for my second semester. The goal is to make a layered painting, basically where you add paint to a canvas, and then add other materials to it, such as cloth, wire, plastic, etc.

SO I've used black and white paint, a white mask, white t shirts (that have been cut up), and rubber glue to hold it together.

So I'm close to being done, but my teacher tells me that I'm missing something, and I can't figure out what exactly it is. She tells me to add something that has meaning to the main purpose of the art.

The meaning? Something along the lines of fear, weather it has a fear of the dark, a childhood fear, etc. And I need to add something along those lines to make it seem complete. Any suggestions? Also, any suggestions on a better title?
